UKRD’s Wessex FM new sound from AudioSweets ID
UKRD’s Wessex FM (which last week became the commercial station in the UK with the highest percentage reach in their area according to RAJAR) has just taken delivery of a new imaging jingle package from AudioSweets ID.
The new Wessex FM package comprises of 12 themes made up of resings from sister UKRD station Spirit FM and custom cuts comprising of IDs, Ramps, Shotguns and a full utilities suite.
Steve Bulley, Managing Director Wessex FM said: ‘We had been working with AudioSweets for a while looking for the right solution for Wessex FM. We are delighted with the package and the flexibility it gives us to constantly refresh the sound of the station’.
Simon Prentice, AudioSweets Managing Director added, “It’s been non-stop since the start of 2016 with loads of different audio leaving our studios – from Touch FMs CHR imaging, the gospel package for UCB as well as an adult-alternative package for Original 106.
We have a great relationship with the UKRD, and we are really happy with what we have been able to deliver Steve and the team at Wessex. It was great to revisit the Spirit FM package and to add some new cuts to the mix. The extended vocal sound gives it a real sing-a-long feel and I tuned in on Monday and they’re sounding great on air!”
The station have also signed up to full access of the AudioSweets imaging library, a constantly updating library of beds, imagining effects and tools, used by over 80 stations in the UK and over 450 around the world.
Wessex FM are the most recent station to get the AudioSweets ID treatment alongside Original 106, the UK national UCB network, Spirit FM, Central FM and Namibia’s Touch FM.
